The joint collaboration is based on a project, co-funded by the Tuscany region, entitled "WAMOS - Wi-Fi Analytics for Marketing Optimization Strategies". The aim of the project is at first to analyze and enrich raw Wi-Fi data in order to provide high-level indicators of presence, location, and mobility. Then to segment the user base according to several dimensions of potential interest for the customers. Finally to develop a tool aimed at optimizing marketing campaigns given a specific KPI, by automatically identifying the best users to reach.
