Brie is a leader that can make an impact at every level of a growing company. She understands how to connect with people, strategically build and scale teams, motivate across an org to drive goal-oriented results, and realize the shared vision of the executive leadership. During the two years she was my manager at Relay, we worked on multiple meaningful projects that led to actual measurable success. And though that sounds so fundamental, those who have worked in enterprise tech can appreciate the challenge inherent in fast-paced industries; identifying and communicating value to the right audience at the right time, all during periods of exponential growth. In addition to delivering for the business, I trusted her with my professional growth. She was an advocate for myself and many others who recognized her ability to foster talent. Brie brings out the best in everyone. And of all the qualities that make her an exceptional leader, her standout special ability was doing it all with grace. She is a role model of professional leadership. In my own career, I aspire to lead like Brie with integrity, empathy, and gratitude. I was lucky enough to get to work with Brie for close to 5 years at Relay. In those 5 years, I learned a great deal from Brie, not just about Marketing but even more about professionalism, preparedness, gratitude, and advocating for what you believe in. Brie is, simply put, the best at what she does. She is incredibly smart, articulate, and persuasive. At Relay, she was always ahead of market trends — she understood where the market was, but more importantly she knew where it was going and where we as a company needed to be. Brie was (and still is!) a professional role model for me as a true leader. At Relay, she led her team with decisiveness, empathy, and grace. Brie has a knack for being able to understand the strategic direction while also being able to execute, and guide her team on how to execute.
