Responsible for the day to day management of the AMX Epping Superstore, my role is to ensure that financial management and operational standards are always excelled. In this position I lead by example; I drive KPI’s, achieve sales, wages and stock loss targets. I utilize my excellent product knowledge to both assist customers and train my team of 4 permanent staff and 11 casuals. I have undertaken Dianese Academy training, including certification to be a premium centre and I am certified to service Dianese air-bags. Since taking on this role I have managed the store through multiple Covid related lockdowns and have undertaken a complete refit of the store. I took a hands-on approach to the refit which involved moving the entire stock to a new floor plan, disassembling old racking and building new racking/shelving for all stock, arranging electricians, following fire, health and safety protocols and making adaptations to ensure that we followed Covid regulations. I have achieved this while also continuing to provide superior customer service through our click and collect and online functionality, maintaining stock integrity and tracking, assisting with the Repco team’s installation and ensuring staff retention and motivation during the pandemic. We have continued to meet and exceed sales targets while also surpassing Work Safe standards, setting a gold standard for all stores in the AMX/GPC network to follow.
