I worked with Brek when I and my team provided an on-going series of Service Quality Assessment projects for Bresnan Cable. Brek was an integral part of a strong management team focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Our assessments revealed several opportunities to improve their internal quality monitoring as well as their customer service delivery. Brek, along with the rest of the management team, embraced the data and actively worked to make continuous improvements to their internal processes and their customer service skills. I worked with Brek when the local cable community was Bresnan Communications. Initially he was the manager when I was a tech-support rep. But when I became the Technical Trainer for the department is really when I appreciated having Brek as the manager of the department. I was able to view Brek as a person who truly cared about the employees who worked at Bresnan. He went above and beyond to make sure employees who were also students were able to make it to their classes. He was available during outages and worked to rally people so they still had fun during the stress. And if I had a tough time training a new concept, he'd be there for me personally to boost my spirits or just let me know we were on the same team.
