I am in the same cohort as James at NextGenT which started July 2020 and immediately James demonstrated as skills as a leader, and team work skills by starting a discord for all of us to connect, learn from each other and grow. James took this a step further by consistently posting relevant articles, scribing notes from our cohort and creating quizlets to help us all succeed. I also was fortunate to be on a team with James for the National Cyber League. James proved to be an integral part of our team, and incredibly knowledgeable in Password Cracking, Log Analysis, Scanning, Linux CLI and other areas of Cyber Security. I am fortunate to have James in my Cohort and highly recommend for any team environment.

I did not compete with James during the NCL. This recommendation is regarding James' incredible work ethic and skills that were represented during this program. During our time within the course, James created and was a mod for a Discord for students of the course to communicate within. He also created a thorough study guide and note cards from the beginning to the end of the course based on the material we were provided. James was also a great resource regarding any information within the course or regarding cyber security, including Linux distros, technology and current news, despite starting at the same time as myself. On top of the above, James is a great collaborator, has solid organization skills, is proactive, great with research and documentation skills as well as a typing speed of over 100 words per minute.
