      Whether an application for a loan submitted by an individual or a company would be passed or not is decided only after risk analysis. This analysis is done by a credit risk analyst. The main role is to analyze possibility of default on a loan. If you find high chances of the person or company defaulting on the loan, i would suggest the bank or the financial institute to charge higher rate of interest, or even deny lending of loan. To analyze the risk factor involved, i used to work on a tailor-made software wherein after inputting all information of the loan applicant, it would calculate involved risk in lending the loan. To do this, i collected all the information and performs reach on the credit history of the loan applicants and makes use of statistics in assessing risks associated with lending loans. Show less
