Whenever I write a job description for a sales engineer, I’m attempting to capture what Clayton does brilliantly every single day. I had the pleasure of leading the Sales Engineering group at Intrado, which Clayton was a part of. He possess a deep technical acumen and stellar presentation skills: he knows how to make very complex concepts simple to understand. Clayton has a great deal on his plate; he is always in very high demand, but he remains accountable for every initiative he leads. Further, he is always looking for opportunities to make a larger contribution. But Clayton goes far beyond the fundamentals. He keeps an eye on improving processes and streamlining operations to make his team more efficient. He demonstrates tremendous creativity in coming up with new solutions. And he invests considerable time is sharing his knowledge with his peers. Clayton makes his teammates better. Clayton will be a tremendous asset to any team he is a part of.
