I am writing in enthusiastic support of Dhanwantari Prakash Tripathi who works as an Assistant Librarian at National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India. I have known Mr. Tripathi since March 01, 2016 when he joined us as Commonwealth Professional Fellow at University of East London, UK and I feel great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for him. I have had the pleasure of viewing Mr. Tripathi’s professional development over the three months and I can state with confidence that he is a self-motivated and responsible person with a high degree of integrity. As such, I expect that he will be a very positive addition to any institution/organization. Commonwealth Professional Fellowship is a program awarded by Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, UK to support mid-career professionals from developing countries to spend a period of time at a UK host organization working in their field for a programme of professional development. The purpose of this program is to provide professionals with the opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills in their given sector, and to have catalytic effects of their workplaces. Mr. Tripathi distinguished himself during the fellowship by showing his dedication and taking part in different activities enthusiastically but this accomplishment only scratches the surface of his ability and character. He loves learning and he is one of those rare people who works very hard diligently but always does so with a smile on his face. He constantly strives for excellence but does not let his thirst for knowledge rule his life. I also noticed, he is a scientific humanist with a genuine caring for others. I found Mr. Tripathi instrumental in the following initiatives during fellowship at UEL. 1. A positive and flexible with the qualities of result-driven, output strategist, focused, responsive service oriented and experienced in handling the multi-task with identifying practical and effective solutions in digital era. 2. Excellent communicator, promoter and trainer with liaising ability, decision making, leadership and new initiative & services 3. Passionate about technologies being used worldwide and implementation in real environment with focused goal towards automation, digitization, web application and solving the complex challenges with best practices. In addition to the above, Mr. Tripathi has been of tremendous value to Commonwealth Fellowship Program. He voluntarily made presentations on the important areas, shared valuable information on the relevant topics and also has demonstrated great sensitivity to organizational needs, as well as creativity in solving problems. He is perceptive, emphatic, and committed to every task he takes on. I highly recommend Mr. Tripathi and I wish him every success in his future endeavours.
