Lilian and I together facilitated the training "Teaching for PhD students" for the Faculty of Mathematics and Naturals Sciences. The training had a workload of 40 hours for the students. Lilian was not part of the initatial team that designed the training. Due to this, she was not familiar with the materials from the beginning. However, her experience and in-depth knowledge of the subjects (motivating students, constructive alignment, teaching techniques, etc.) proved to be of great value. She was able to clearly present the materials and adapt to the materials and the students very quickly. The students graded the course (which we facilitated together three times) on average an 8 (out of 10).

En altijd door ruimte te maken voor ontmoeting, ontwikkeling en professioneel experimenteren. Dit doen we o.a. met onze landelijke peer-support community Jimmy’s.

Het JCU ontwikkelt met steun van het Platform Beta Techniek de cursus 'Bevorderen van Excellentie in de Betavakken'. Het doel van de cursus is dat docenten de leeromgeving en hun lessen zodanig weten in te richten dat getalenteerde leerlingen zich uitgedaagd voelen hun talenten optimaal te ontwikkelen en de grenzen van hun kunnen en kennen op te zoeken.
