Evan Lawrie is one of the clearest communicators I have ever had the privilege managing. Evan’s ability to clearly describe financial situations in an understandable manner is a sign of his mastery of his field. Evan truly knows what he is doing. He is the type of employee who manages to get the job done well and on time, while still finding room to surprise management with work management didn’t know they needed. 10/10 team member and employee.

Evan is very creative and does think outside the box. He does take the time to listen to the needs of his clients to make sure he delivers solutions that work. Also a pleasure to work with.

During my internship at CapinCrouse LLP I was able to serve a diverse group of non-profit organizations, while actively developing auditing knowledge and skills including an increased proficiency in the following software: Engagement (audit software), Performance Management Suite, Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word, and ProStaff. Alongside the wonderful Brea office, I also obtained a far deeper understanding of how to be professionally skeptical, thorough in my analysis and review of client and firm documentation, kind and courteous without compromising efficiency, and how to vocalize my shortcomings in a productive manner. What meant more to me than the vast amount of professional development CapinCrouse offered, was the genuine interest in my personal maturation as a college-aged kid and follower of Christ.

As a summer job. Full-time. At AHM I moved around the warehouse starting as a mezzanine parts handler and packer, working with a team picking small parts and learning the Acura/Honda inventory systems. As I became faster, finishing my tasks quicker, I would finish the days on the loading dock. Here I learned how to pack, load, and ship crates to our PNW dealers. Finally, I landed as the breaks & plastics handler. As a solo gig I quickly learned how to be both fast and accurate, mirroring my mezzanine performance and ultimately finishing the days on the loading dock. What I learned and practiced daily • Inventory control by cycle counting • Productive upward communication • Team efficiency • Troubleshooting • Quality inspection
