  I had an extremely fruitful time with Chegg. During this time I had an opportunity to constantly acquire new skills on a wide technological spectrum, and advance complex products to production. Lead Frontend engineer in the front-end architecture team. Worked with various major javascript frameworks and flavors, including React, ES6, Webpack and more. Lead backend engineer Designed and implemented javascript backend services for a cross platform app (web, iOS, Android). Designed for concurrency and resilience, on top of services such as Docker, AWS, Elasticsearch, etc. Task Pipeline Designed and implemented a distributed task-runner for parallelizing high cpu and high memory data-science tasks. In production, this project was running on a docker cluster of 10 AWS ECS instances, while parallelizing a queue of hundreds of millions of NodeJS and Python tasks. Alongside the task-runner I’ve developed a dashboard with a control panel to manage, audit, and queue tasks for execution on the cluster in real-time. Data Science and Research Designed and developed algorithms for NLP (Keyword extraction, document classification, textual pattern recognition), Neural Nets, Error detection in big data, etc. iOS Developer Spent a year working on the iOS apps for Chegg Study and Chegg Math.
