Last week the College went live with our parent platform for Schoolbox and updates to our Digistorm App to implement authenticated secure access. K12 Solutions and their PIPS service provided the glue. Dean and Kent from K12 Solutions made the process straightforward for us, supporting the implementation and integration along the way. Not only did they provide a great parent authentication solution, they also helped us develop a more in-depth connection between Schoolbox, Digistorm and other College systems. PIPS certainly made the job of parental authentication across systems seamless. K12 Solutions and their Parent Identity Passport Services (PIPS) came along to us just at the right time. We were establishing a new Learning Management System at College and were looking for an easily managed parent authentication method. I heard of the many problems that can exist when you try to incorporate parent authentication into traditional methods and the workflow made the process seem daunting.
