Without great pretensions, me and a friend started a small idea: "develop small and self managed websites for the city growing companies". With just a few real competitors in the city market, we quickly got good customers and partners. To enhance the productivity we build our own and my first hand made PHP Framework, focused in security, readability, easy to junior developers and fast prototyping and reusability, we call it Skeleton Framework, which recently became open source. On top of our Skeleton Project we build a lot of sites and small web systems, and our second great idea, our own CMS, we call it Genius Manager. And this time (about middle 2010) we hired some friends to focus on CSS, Photoshop and, of course, PHP. Some of this projects are alive yet and listed below. In addition to the customers sites and systems, we build some of our own ideas, as Picpics (picture share service for photographers), OnCall (small chat platform for websites, free and premium), casual browser games, etc. At it's height, we came to have six fixed developers, but recently, each of us follow different paths and today the company is only me, acting as a freelancer, attending and supporting legacy customers and maybe if I retake my business spirit the company turn to grow again. After all... Genius Soluções Web (Web Solutions) was the big learning of my professional life, and a feel proud for all great job and friends we do. Show less
