Andreia is a brilliant young scientist that I have been lucky enough to follow during her days as a PhD student. I was particularly impressed by the amount and quality of research work she has done (which is attested by her excellent publication track record), while being able to adapt to different research teams where she was a visiting scientist. I believe this stems not only from her great working skills and intelligence, but also from her unusual ability to inspire and positively interact with co-workers. Andreia is a team player and she is/would be a great addition to any academic or industry group involved in R&D, namely in the biomedical and pharmaceutical fields.

I had a pleasure to work with Andreia during her PhD studies at i3S, Porto. I was impressed by Andreia’s ability to be involved in multiple projects and handle any situation calmly and patiently, with a warm smile. She is one of the most dedicated professionals I’ve worked with and is always available to discuss science and support colleagues whenever they need it. Her expertise as researcher is considerable, providing more efficient solutions on different projects where she participated. Andreia has a nice personality and will become an appreciated member of any team.
