Abstract of the activities performed:: Experimental program for the evaluation of the behaviour of composite slabs with steel sheeting profiles. The Eurocode (EN 1994) provides design models for verification of the main requirements that a composite slab with steel sheeting profile must perform, however, some of these models can only be used if laboratory tests for determination parameters are made, such as m-k method and partial connection method. The entire experimental program was performed at the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Coimbra. This work also had the intention to present new solutions in order to optimize the behaviour of such slabs, hoping that with the results, may be possible to contribute to the development of future work improving the performance of this type of solutions in the design of steel structures.
