Arun was a valuable addition to the team managing the official USA Partnership Pavilion at the 54th edition of the Paris Air Show in June 2023. He was actively involved in servicing the 300+ companies who participated in the program, and engaged with a large number of high-ranking professional trade visitors who requested his guidance about the show. Later in the week he helped transform the trade show into a well-attended public event, attracting upwards of 6000 visitors over the course of a busy two days. Whenever a task needed to be accomplished, Arun was the first one to raise his hand to assist. With his positive attitude, I have no doubt he has a great future ahead of him in the global events industry!

Arun is a hard working and enthusiastic young man who has everything it takes to be successful. When he volunteered for us he made a massive impact on the team who are all keen to work with him again. No job was too big or too small and he did everything with a smile and a confidence that far outweighs his age.

The Music Works (TMW) transforms young lives through music. TMW works with 3,500 children and young people (YP) 8-30 years with a further 2,000 as audiences. We specialize in working with young people in challenging circumstances. We work with all abilities, from absolute beginners to some of the county’s most skilled emerging artists. Here is an intro: https://youtu.be/zz14_Zi2POY. TMW has a Music Hub in Gloucester and will open one in Cinderford in January 2024.TMW is behind events such as King’s Jam Festival (KJF) – the southwest’s most prominent hip-hop and urban culture celebration. The festival plays a vital role in inspiring change in the community of Gloucester by providing a platform for emerging local talent in music, dance, and art to perform and work alongside national and internationally renowned performers and artists. The festival is aimed at local and regional audiences and performers with a particular focus on the young BAME community in Gloucester (anticipated attendance of 1,200), many of whom do not engage with the culture in the city. KJF's most notable performers: are Unknown T, Miraa May, A1 x J1 and Backroad Gee. Since September I have been assisting in all events organized by TMW. I am responsible for the planning, facilitating and execution of events such as Kings Square Live, UPSURGE Live, and Knife Angel Project Launch.Kings Square Live is a Council funded project to activate Kings Square and make it a more vibrant space. This is achieved through platforming young people giving them a paid opportunity to perform. TMW started the event in September 2022 and it will run until September 2023. UPSURGE Live is a community open mic that platforms young people in Gloucester and gives young people an opportunity to showcase their talent either solo or with a live band which consists of professional musicians.Fundraising - I run a portfolio of events funded by GCC. I successful in fundraising £10,000 through a GCC bid. Show less

Stroud Valley Artspace (SVA) is the cultural hub for the arts in the heart of Stroud, Gloucestershire. SVA is behind events such as Stroud Jazz Festival and Site Festival. Jazz Festival has had headliners such as Mica Paris, James Taylor Quartet, and Ishmael Ensemble. Site Festival is a programme of artist-led projects; events, exhibitions, talks and Open Studios; established in 1997. Site Festival allows for open collaboration and expression resulting in Artists developing projects and opening their work up to the public. At SVA I oversee, organize and manage a project called Mojam. I established it with Neil (Creative Director and CEO of SVA) in November 2021. It Is an open mic that runs every Thursday for those under 25. Mojam aims at platforming young people allowing them to perform and jam. The project has reached 1,000 young people. Show less
