Bio
Charmaine Nokuri
A very knowledgable educator who is attentive to his students needs and empowers them to embrace both the technical and spiritual aspects of musical artistry.
Ron Blake
Being from the Virgin Islands, word always gets to me through former music teachers and musicians at home about young and upcoming musicians. I heard about Reginald Cyntje some years ago, playing in the D.C. area then on a trip home to St. Thomas. In addition to being an accomplished musician and composer, I've always admired his peaceful nature, great energy on and off the bandstand, and his entrepreneurship. His commitment to raising the level of community and education on the music scene is unquestionable. I've had the pleasure of sharing the bandstand with him on several occasions and it's always been rewarding.
