Custom web application development in a consultancy environment, as lead developer, team manager and/or solution architect, for customers in banking, finance, insurance, retail, travel, government, ngo, telco, energy and health, ranging from simple to complex projects with multiple dependencies and integrations, on various subjects like invoice automation, erp integration, web presences, highly scalable web sites, payment systems, biometric authentication, business intelligence, accounting and mobile web apps, using both open source and proprietary technologies, usually with a best tool for the job approach and agile/scrum project management methodology. From these projects, I highlight Pordata (http://pordata.pt) internationally awarded statistics platform (2011 WSA Award by United Nations) which I proudly conceived, projected and co-implemented. Besides consultancy work, I was product manager, solution architect and co-developer of the following products: − Agile Reporting Services: Conventional reporting and report management solution for the OutSystems Agile Platform. Customers in the US, Netherlands and Portugal. ARS is developed in .NET C# Windows Forms (Report Studio) and the Agile Platform (Report Center). − ViewTrend: A minimalistic approach to BI, targeting user massification and focusing on simplicity and the essentials. Currently with two relevant customers and adoption by a major Portuguese Telco under evaluation. ViewTrend is developed in Sencha Touch + HighCharts over a json web api powered by .NET C# MVC 3.
