I had the great pleasure to work closely with Mirko in the Infrastructure ESG cluster of Moodys ESG Solutions. We worked on numerous projects together including but not limited to; Heavy Construction batch organisation, ESG presentations to clients and completing the Heavy Construction Analyst Guide. From the get-go, Mirko leaned remarkably quickly and took on many responsibilities with ease. I always knew that I could rely on him to get the job done. Further than this, to my mind he was one of the stand out members of not only our team, but of the 100+ ESG analysts at large. Mirko Vlahovic was part of my team at Moody’s ESG Solutions for more than a year. He fulfilled the role of Associate ESG Analyst. From the very beginning, when we interviewed him for the position, the management team found him a very valuable asset to the organization. Mirko not only brought much-needed theoretical expertise and a solid base to work upon but also had operational experience. After joining the team, he quickly established himself as a trustworthy colleague who could learn fast and at the same time be open to learning. Due to his rapid advancement, he was given more and more responsibilities within our team of 14 analysts. He fulfilled his additional responsibilities with great professionalism and could be counted on to fulfill the needed tasks effectively and efficiently. He took care of various internal projects and as always, he showed to be the type of member that you want in your team. Due to the steep learning curve of our methodology, along with his tutors and reviewers, we were content but of course not surprised when he began grasping concepts and technical abilities faster than the average time it would take other analysts. We were not surprised because even though he had a good base to work on based on experience and knowledge, he was always willing to ask questions and more importantly, learn.
