• The Irish NFL Show's vision and mission is to deliver a knowledgeable and high-quality content with an Irish flavour for fans worldwide. • In addition to our regular weekly shows, we have done week-long event programming around key NFL events, such as the Super Bowl and NFL Draft. Projects included: • Accommodation: allocation of 1200 beds across five different locations to international students. • Student engagement events: Assisted staff, student societies and external stakeholders in the planning of engagement events. • Orientation: Coordinated and delivered international student elements of orientation. • Workshops and programmes: Collaborated with Student to Student (S2S), the Student Counselling Service and the Careers Service on international student initiatives. • Reviewed and redeveloped the campus visit process and associated procedures. • Established a social media and communications policy and protocol that was student focussed. These new mechanisms allowed for student input into the Global Room suite of activities, as well as allowing the Global Room to utilise these channels to manage student expectations and perspectives. • Drafted ICOS’ initial response statement on the implications of the HEA ruling regarding private health insurance for international students.
