There are few tasks Janet Stone doesn't approach with passion, integrity and a BUNCH of detail. I welcome the opportunity to do business with Janet again.

Brandon Griggs

Janet is a detail-oriented manager with a strong vision and the skill-set necessary to execute that vision. She was a joy to work with as a client. She knew what she wanted but was confident enough to trust our creative vision. The non-profit world needs more managers like Janet.

I have developed many working relationships within the IU while employing various administrative skills as a member of their Burle Business Services team and the Lebanon Customer Service team. I have also worked with young children with multiple disabilities in the IU 13's ESY (Extended School Year) Program running from June through August and in IU13 emotional support and autistic support classrooms. I enjoy making a valuable contribution back to the community through this exceptional organization. I love to attack a challenge with creativity and what people have termed my "unique perspective" and always welcome opportunities to do so.

I created and maintain a blog called Never Nacatamale for a friend who lives in Granada, Nicaragua. Donna Tabor originally came to Nicaragua through the Peace Corps, then worked many years for Building New Hope, a Pittsburgh-based NGO. She is now independently supporting her projects through her extensive network. Her blog is about the people and animals of Granada and the wonderful work that Donna accomplishes in her community. I use WordPress to proof, edit and post the stories Donna sends me, along with posting photos to the blog for her. I have visited her several times and have seen first hand the extraordinary work that Donna accomplishes...she has built a school, a restaurant where she had European-trained chefs instruct Granada youth in culinary skills, and a veterinary clinic called Casa Lupita where she sees that the local animals are ministered to. Her work reaches far beyond Granada. Her veterinarians have traveled far outside her community to all corners of Nicaragua, including Little and Big Corn Islands, the Island of Ometepe, and the mountains of Matagalpa. I'm proud to volunteer my time to blog for Donna. In August 2013, I built a fundraising site to help Donna increase her financial support.

Served as liaison between JSID and their businesses and neighbors in promoting Lancaster County Community Foundation's Extraordinary Give campaign. Solicited area businesses for a total of $1,500 in donated local products and services in gift baskets to be awarded to randomly selected donors who contributed during the drive. Made daily posts on JSID Facebook page to increase interest and keep stakeholders engaged. Arranged for a local video to be made gratis concerning JSID and the Extraordinary Give campaign for promotion on the JSID YouTube channel. My efforts resulted in JSID exceeding its 2012 Extraordinary Give goal by 40% (see Newsletter below).
