    • Operations and IT Manager, Certified Red Cross CPR Instructor and Teen Mentor
      • Jun 2014 - Mar 2018

This Not-for-profit organization needed to be brought up to speed in network security, data synchronization and overall fluidity of information from one case manager to another. Emails, PBX systems, Network Infrastructure and many other systems were either lacking or non-existent. The initial contract offered of 7 weeks came to a close and I was offered a full-time position Parenting Network. I received my 3PP license from the Red Cross to teach basic Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED and First-Aid to all Tulare County foster care families. From July 2016, I helped with the Teen Group as a Teen Mentor to help the teens deal with difficult subject in both their own personal lives and with school subject matter by tutoring when possible. When Parenting Network purchased their new building in July 2015, I rewired the entire 13,000 sqft building with new CAT5e and CAT6 network and phone infrastructure. The building became operational September of that year. In June of 2016, we again expanded, this time to Porterville. I again wired the entire 3,600 sqft with new network and phone infrastructure. That building became operational mid July of 2016. Show less

Dubacano Export Import Inc was in dire need of an experienced import/export specialist. I was hired at this job after initially going in as an IT Tech to help them with network, virus and internet issues. When I heard that they were having a hard time with a container that had been sitting in Brazil about a week, I asked the owner if I could be of assistance. He shrugged it off thinking there would be no way for me to help. After much enticing, he gave me the okay to help. Within 30 minutes, I had the port release the cargo and the driver called back stating the container was in his possession. The owner, amazed with how quickly I got it done, offered me the job on the spot. I started the next day. Sent produce and meats to many countries of the world as well as bringing in spices from Ecuador, Peru, Thailand and Indonesia to the US West Coast. COMPANY CLOSED JULY 2013 Show less
