  For Viva con Agua, water is life. Originally founded in Hamburg, Germany, the key mission for Viva con Agua (VcA) is to campaign, and combat the lack of clean water supplies in developing countries. VcA provides clean drinking water to communities living in India, Burkina Faso, Uganda and Kenya, and promotes WASH education simultaneously. VcA Nederland is partnered with Simavi development fund, and have our newest project in Busia, Kenya. Aimed to service around 6000 community members with boreholes, public bathrooms, and a community water tank. I was part of the development, and the establishment of VcA Nederland (the Netherlands); responsible for running our base in Maastricht, where we worked with festivals, collected deposit cups, held sports events, swop shops, debates and exhibitions to raise funds for the project in Kenya. • As Head of Education I worked closely with local schools and other youth organizations to mobilize people and stimulate awareness on the issues surrounding water, and its availability. • As Head of project development, I oversee the progress of the projects, conducting surveys and project reports and recommendations, visiting the project as well as ensuring the transparency of funds. • Currently, I still hold a position on the board and am actively involved in the planning of events, liaising with the project team in Kenya and overseeing the projects progress.   The Van Eyck is a post-academic institute for artistic talent development . During the first week of March each year they host a week long open studio where the public are able to see what their resident artist have been up to. At Slum Fashion Africa, as floor manager, not only was I in charge of both the models and designers, but additionally, ensuring the show ran according to plan.
