Rachel Follis is an incredibly talented visual and graphic designer. She has a strong studio art and art history foundation from the College of William & Mary and she consistently produces designs that are complex, sophisticated, and well-conceived. I recommend Rachel without reservation. Rachel began working in Creative Services at William & Mary during her time as an undergraduate student. She typically worked 15 hours per week and her work was exceptional. In fact, we relied on her contributions like those of a full-time, professional member of the team. Around the time that Rachel graduated from William & Mary, I had a vacancy for a visual and graphic designer. In addition to Rachel, we considered the portfolios of more than 50 individuals and most had much more experience than Rachel. Still, Rachel’s portfolio was very competitive among this set of applicants. The two other finalists had between 10 and 20 years of experience as designers. The entire Creative Services team agreed that Rachel was the best candidate for our open position. We hired Rachel for the full-time position in Creative Services about 12 months ago. Her work is incredible and she has strong skills in many mediums including print, web, social media, and video. Rachel has excellent customer service skills. She is also easy to work with and very comfortable in collaborative work environments. Please contact me if I can provide additional information about Rachel's work. It would be my pleasure to recommend her to future employers.

Wow. where do I begin? Rachel is an excellent designer, illustrator and artist. She takes direction patiently and calmly. She is very easy to work with. No drama or hidden agendas. She works well with clients and vendors. She looks at every job as a challenge and an opportunity, no matter how big or small. Another remarkable thing about Rachel is how quickly she learns. She is a whiz with Photoshop and the Wacom tablet, taught herself Illustrator and InDesign and moves very comfortably in those programs and has a good handle on web design. Rachel is the entire package and amazingly talented. Your organization would benefit from having her as part of your creative team.
