As an instructor for the Cybersecurity / Digital Forensics Department, I am responsible for reviewing course content to ensure that it aligned with both academic program standards and current industry certification exam content objectives. Participating in several “Train the Trainer” courses and subsequently taking and passing the nationally recognized certification exams better aided me in this endeavor. Being a member of the Academic Advisory committee, I helped revamp our advance certificate program though a fundamental resign of included course content. As a part of the process, I created several new security courses to better align our program with evolving industry best practices. Being a member of a small IT department for the fourth largest city in Maine I was responsible for a number of different systems and functions. I was responsible for the network of services across 30 different buildings including phones, internet, and LAN services. I was an administer for an Avaya Phone System as well as Cisco Routers, Switches, and ASA's. I implemented Fortigate VPNs across multiple sites.
