Bio
Augusto A. Revello M.
I constantly refer to Johel as "one of the brightest minds I've ever met" and I do not say that lightly. He has an admirable passion for education, and is genuinely devoted to improve every project he engages on. Johel is passionate, determined and once he sets his eyes on a goal, he won't give up. Working side by side with him has been an honor, and a truly inspiring experience. I'm certain he'll help reshape the future of education in Panama and Latin America, and might as well lay the foundation to a very bright future for all students across the globe.
Victor Lopez-Cabrera
Johel Batista is a hard working student of mine who has been supporting education change in Panama and Latin Amrica for at least 11 years. Yes 11 years, since he was 14 years old. This long road of experiences has allowed him to collect a wealth of academic and professional experiences that can only be found in seasoned professionals with more age, but that Johel has been able to acquire over the years. In addition, Johel has a sharp and inquisitive mind, analytical I would say. He is always looking for patterns, wether in people, artificial devices or systems as a whole. Johel has a rare combination of logic-emotion driven mind, which allows him not only to do matemathical modelling of phenomenon, test those models and get numeric results, but also read thru those numeric results the qualitative data sorrounding the phenomenon making him quite fit for an hermeneutical approach for deep analysis of situations. I have had the opportunity of sharing teaching spaces with Johel, actually for fresman students in 2022, where he has been able to serve of inspiration for others showing the way of continuous improvement every day. Perfection is a goal, not an obtainable goal but worth to be souht, because at the end is the "process to try to achive it" what matters the most. This last fact Johel knows well, thus he works always with approximation to solutions, refining found partial solutions, testing findings and using that feedback to make more improvements. I called that just in time learning and adaptability, quialities required to navigate the turbulent waters of our business world.
