At AEFCT, I provided one to one in home behavioral therapy for children aged 3-5 years. This included following behavior intervention plans, working with parents teaching them ways to manage challenging behaviors. I worked to increase independence in self-help skills and social skills. I also worked in schools throughout the county as a one to one shadow aide for 7-10 year old children. In this position I would modify curriculum so that they child I was helping could better understand and therefore, be more successful. During lunch and recess, I helped promote social interactions between my student and other children. Show less
