Abhinava and I worked together when GM was getting involved with worksharing in other GM regions. Abhinava was a team leader who provided liasion between my team at GM North America (GMNA) and his team at GM Tech Centre, India GMTC-I), which involved producing assembly documentation. Abhinava helped his team to understand their role and responsibilities and communicated any concerns directly to me. He and I resolved many items related to understanding the content of a work order, understanding the work instruction documentation available to assist/train for conducting/completing the required tasks, and improving the overall communication between GMTC-I and North America for our department and the engineers with whom they were now involved. I found Abhinava to be a strong leader. Abhinava left GMTC-I to persue an advanced degree. While his loss was felt, I understood and encouraged him to invest in his future with more education.
