Looking for my latest challenge, I joined ImPOS to reinvigorate the supply chain with a fresh perspective. My most broadly encompassing role in my career to date, with ImPOS I was responsible for total oversight of the business' logistics functions. From procurement and contract negotiation, purchasing and customer fulfillment, to repairs and reverse logistics, there is scarcely a skerrick of my experience that I haven't needed to apply to this role. My first real experience in a smaller scale organisation, hitting the ground running has been of key importance. Not only has this role encouraged a much broader understanding of supply chain process, but it has also given me a greater view of the value of iterative changes in keeping a business moving. Within the first six months of performing this role, I placed a heavy emphasis on asset recovery. While this was previously a key area of financial loss for the business, from December 2017 - May 2017 I was able to recover in excess of $75,000 of misgoverned hardware. Show less

Returning to the Telstra Materials Management Group with a year of new, outside knowledge and experiences under my belt, I came back as an even more valuable team member. Resuming not only my previous responsibilities but also working as part of the Network Delivery Logistics Team, I've been afforded plenty of opportunity to apply my refined skill set. My time spent as an Accounts Clerk has given me the understanding to assist and take control of the NDLT cost recovery process, helping the client to ensure accuracy and validity of their internal accounts. I've also had the opportunity to put to use the knowledge gained from my study in 2016, by mapping Materials Management Group processes for review and assessment to allow identification of inefficiencies, as well as using Project Management tools to establish responsibilities of the Group and further identify inefficiencies in the account. After relocating to Melbourne at the end of 2015 to pursue higher education, I joined Trivett as a Concierge at Subaru Interactive @ Docklands. Whilst my main responsibility in this role was to provide customer service as the face of the business, I also was presented with more opportunities to expand my Supply Chain Management skills and broader business understanding in a competitive retail industry. The chance to work with the Delivery team allowed for me to develop my understanding of international shipping and vehicle logistics. As part of this, I also had the chance to play a large part in customer fulfillment, which I found extremely rewarding. My most valuable time with Trivett was spent assisting the Accounts team, who provided me with a great education into many business areas such as account reconciliations, secure document management, and financial journaling. Always on the lookout for opportunities to bring my process improvement experience to every role, I experienced success at Trivett by taking ownership of the vehicle treatment warranty process. By making minor refinements to the process as it stood, I was able to provide a saving of approximately $4480 per annum with no outlaid cost to the business. Show less

As a Materials Management Group consultant on the Telstra Integrated Account, I was responsible for the coordination of telecommunications material logistics on a national scale. I joined the Materials Management Group during its relocation to IBM Australia's Ballarat office. This transition provided a strong opportunity to establish myself within the company, with many chances to introduce and refine processes to benefit both IBM and the client. My key success in this role was the development and introduction of the outstanding shipment delivery confirmation process, which still remains in use by the Group in 2017. Show less
