Jeff has an incredible ability to use storytelling and technology to communicate an idea or message to an audience. Great ideas exist all around us, but most aren’t delivered effectively and are, therefore, often lost. Jeff an ability to bring ideas to life using either structured methodology or on-the-cuff creativity and talent. He is also constantly seeking out and developing new technologies and new ways of thinking about digital evolution and how it will change life in general. And if this wasn’t enough, he is fun to work with and he is absolutely professional in his interactions with fellow employees, executives and customers.

I invited Jeff to speak to two of my classes of 75 third year university students at the Ivey Business School. Jeff specifically spoke about disruptive technologies to wrap up a module that was part of an introductory information technology course. From the moment I first reached out to Jeff, he was responsive and caring, which made him incredibly easy to work with. Jeff has made at least two other presentations to Ivey students this past year, but he took the time to create a brand new presentation specifically tailored to my students. He truly had a pulse on key themes that students should keep in mind as they move forward in an economy and time of life when change is happening at an incredibly rapid pace. His experience working for IT think tanks and also his philosophy background allowed him to bring a novel perspective on how to look at disruptive technologies. He had a friendly and professional demeanor with the students, and was immediately swarmed by students for follow-up questions after his talk. Some specific comments directed to me from students included: 1) "This was seriously the best classroom speaker we've had all year." 2) "That was the most organized and logically flowing presentation I've seen and he really kept me engaged during the entire presentation." 3) "That was an amazing presentation. Do you think it would be ok if I got his contact information so that I can invite him to speak at future Ivey events?" There were several other positive comments, but I hope my point is made. If you need a forward thinking presenter on technology innovations and the disruptions they are causing in industry and society that knows how to reach his audience, I highly recommend you consider using Jeff.

In late 2017, friend Jordan and I co-founded what has become, now at 150,000 members, one of the internet's largest and most vibrant communities. We take in Simpsons fans and produce new artists and the lion's share of new Simpsons memes/content. We've also repeatedly worked with Facebook make Groups better. It's given me incredible insight into how both facebook and memes work. Served as the in-house editor-in-chief for a mid-sized IT consulting firm, as well as the ghost- and speech-writer for the senior leadership team. Taught technical delivery colleagues to write comfortably in long form. Lots of process design.
