It is my pleasure to recommend Robert Saldarini for accomplishments and dedication too numerous for most to comprehend. I had worked with Bob at Bergen Community College from 2015-2017 where he served as the Chair of the Business and Hospitality Department. It was a short but memorable time where I was able to experience his mentoring abilities. Bob’s 30 year legacy at the College was not built over night. He spent years in the classroom teaching the future work force the personality of the world and the attitudes that it brings. He served on every committee and held every position imaginable. His canvas veered quite far from your conventional white board. Yes, he taught the chapters, but he brought them to life through example. I was a witness to this great teaching ability when I had him for Marketing and Management some time ago in 2010 and 2011. His no nonsense attitude was his most noteworthy trait where laziness was completely void in this man’s demeanor. You just know that he is a professional from the moment you shake his hand. He believed that progress is the only way to build the future business world in a dynamic society such as this. He became the department’s confidant and ultimate decision maker. Bob has a quality that you have to look closer at that really defines his intuition. He understands who will succeed and who won’t. His advice is not an hour long conversation but a few short sentences that make you understand. Bob built his knowledge on what I would like to call

As my adviser for the international honor society, Phi Theta Kappa, while I was a student at Bergen Community College and served as Vice President of Fellowship for our local chapter, Robert both challenged and empowered me to amazing opportunities in being able to contribute to the local community and connect with people all over the US. He showed me what I was capable of and ignited my passion for community involvement. Even 10 years later, I look back with extreme gratitude for Robert's contribution to my life. Thank you.
