Lloyd quickly picked up all the techniques he was taught at GSK and showed a sound understanding on the aim of his studies and how they fitted into the bigger picture of the project he worked on. If not sure he always sought further advice/information to ensure he fully understood what was required. He learnt to interpret his own data and plan further experiments and presented his data on a number of occasions to myself and team members, where feedback was always excellent. During his year with us there were no issues with attendance or punctuality and he demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm and application in his laboratory work. Write-ups were very good and he worked independently for the majority of the year. He settled well into the team environment building good relationships with co-workers. The work he generated also contributed to a number of high impact publications.
