Involved in the execution of tasks within the Simulator maintenance engineering domain such as: Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance tasks as well as run Qualification tests and analyze the results. Troubleshooting errors and working on training device deficiencies (DR’s) to improve device performance (KPI’s) and perform preflight to prepare the Simulator for the incoming customers. Ensure the readiness of devices for initial and recurrent regulatory authority evaluations such as EASA/FAA and other civil aviation bodies. Performing Simulator database (navigational/visual/ground station) updates. Process maintenance documentations in coordination with the logistics team. Utilizing the Maintenance Management System software (Gemini) to record and track maintenance activities, thereby complying with the CAE’s Quality Management System. Operating hardware test equipment and running software diagnostic utilities along with interpreting system prints and simulator schematics. Performing tasks such as refurbishment and hardware modifications and repairs on simulator equipment thereby saving costs and adding monetary value to the company. Offer a high standard of customer service to ensure client satisfaction during all phases of flight training and deal tactfully in sensitive situations as per the TCOM.
