This then quickly moved onto helping the business grow in a stable and non-disruptive approach. This growth was made interesting by a handful of international acquisitions (inc TUPE's), the setting up of several international offices (UK, US, Canada, Malta, Gibraltar, Estonia, Austria, Czech Republic) and regular Department wide re-organisations (including some redundancy consultations) and our eventual move to a PLC. Throughout my time with Gamesys I worked on several wider HR driven programmes across the business including • Developing the L&D approach for all staff (including a senior leadership programme including C level 1:1 coaching), bitesized voluntary drop-in sessions and bespoke Career Path led personal development • The recruiting, training and continued development of a top class People Team including a 6 person strong Talent Acquisition Team, 4 London based HR generalists and 3 HRBP’s that worked across the wider Gamesys Office Network • Responsible for leading the global people strategy and embedding a culture of Performance Management 1st including principles like Fast, Fair Feedback by all managers) • HR lead for the execution and delivery of the technology global near-shore strategy and wider tech resourcing planning • Developed career paths, job banding, departmental organisational planning and salary / reward benchmarking • Owned the development of the Talent and Succession strategy across the wider business • Worked with the Founders and wider Leadership Team to define the communication strategy around company mission and values ensuring these were embedded and followed by all senior staff • Diversity – actively ran campaigns and programmes to help embrace and embed the company’s core values Show less
