      As a doctoral candidate in the lab of Ellen Unterwald PhD, my work focused on sex differences in stress responses during cocaine withdrawal. Specifically, we investigated the roles of two different stress-related systems (delta opioid receptors and FKBP5) in cocaine withdrawal-induced negative affect and relapse. During this time, I was able to mentor and supervise several undergraduate students, and I presented my work at several conferences and meetings across the country.
