Jeremy is a smart, dedicated and kind student with an interest in different cultures and international education. During the second semester of 2019-2020 this student was selected by the Office of International Student Affairs as one of the UvA Exchange Ambassadors and trained in intercultural awareness, presenting, networking, deep democracy and mindfulness. Even amidst the Covid-19 crises, the ambassador was actively involved in the University of Amsterdam international student community, supporting exchange students who stayed on in Amsterdam achieve their international aspirations, helping repatriated students reconnect with the city and University of Amsterdam, and creating inspiring perspectives to improve our exchange programme. In their attempt to combat the effects of this global pandemic the student achieved excellent results supporting the integration between Dutch and international students. We are truly proud of the excellent work that was done!
