Mary Ann is an excellent and very knowledgeable chemist, a tireless worker, and an extremely nice person to work with. Mary Ann is the ultimate team player that will go out of her way to make sure things are done RIGHT and she is not afraid to tackle whatever challenges are given to her. She was a great role model for new chemists and she always went out of her way to help others. Additionally, I had the pleasure of working on several projects with Mary Ann and observed her interactions with others on a daily basis. She was always proactive with dealing with issues when they arose and usually gave a unique prospective. Mary Ann was not afraid to voice her opinion and solicit the opinion of others. She always came prepared for meetings and gave concise, detailed presentations. In my opinion, Mary Ann would be an outstanding candidate for any position she pursues!
