Whether it be solving an issue with a legacy system, breaking systems into microservices, dockerizing our applications, writing and maintaining open source softwares, or pushing us forward through Jenkins/GitHub Actions/CircleCI automation, as a person mentored by him, you know he can not only do it very well but will also impart this knowledge to the team working under him. Not only he mentored a lot of developers, he also gave us a lot of freedom to think about the way we see system design, develop high quality code, suggesting improvements in his open sources python and php libraries.
