NASA's Mars Perseverance Rover Film Presenter

Presented the UK Space Agency's 'Mars Perseverance Film' which focuses on NASA's Perseverance Rover, Mars and space careers. Engineers and scientists involved in the Perseverance and other mars missions feature in this video and discuss the wonders of the red planet. As a result, I presented the landing of NASA's Perseverance Rover Live on the Royal Society of Chemistry's TikTok with the Ministry of Science in collaboration with the UK Space Agency. Collectively, we reached 70,000 views.

Research Intern

8 week Summer Research Internship with S&AO. Placement Student as part of the Space Placements in INdustry (SPIN) Scheme 2020: supported by the Satellite Applications Catapult and managed by the UK Space Agency.Explored sensors and atmospheric science. Developed a module using Python to take FMCW Doppler Radar data and visualise this with user capabilities. Explored the scattering of electro-magnetic radiation at hydrometeors as well as terminal fall velocity. Also wrote a research paper and poster on ‘FMCW Doppler Radar Profiler Data Post Processing’ and presented this during the big Space Showcase in November 2020.
