I have had the pleasure of working with Becky for over three years as a key member of the leadership team at Codeweavers. It is no coincidence over that period the company has grown significantly. The speed of the company growth and nature of the fast paced industry, has been a very challenging environment to be able to deliver and keep up with demand, but Becky has more than met these challenges. I have worked closely with Becky also on improving forecasting and budgeting processes, continually evolving and automating where possible. She is both a leader and mentor and provides support to those around her in a myriad of ways. She is always ready and seemily effortlessly able to give the right advice when I've needed it, be that for commerical issues, client management, or to provide another view upon the technical problems I face. Utilising her background, Beckie has a fantastic understanding of the technical issues faced by software engineers. Through this understanding she has supported us and been able to encourage positive change in the business that directly affects the effectiveness of my work. Multiple OI ProjectsI led multiple OI projects providing intelligent systems utilising customers existing data, customers included SSE, Tengizchevroil (TCO) and Severn Trent Water. Alongside this, I was responsible for multiple teams across offices and bringing the satellite office in line with company process whilst upskilling the team. Project - Site SCADA for Thames Water UtilitiesI was responsible for the delivery of the multi-million-pound contract to replace 21 SCADA (System Control and Data Acquisition) systems across 19 Clean and Waste Water Treatment Sites. This including all Hardware and Software, and was a system migration project with legacy data and control being maintained in the upgrade. At the conclusion, Thames Water had a cohesive and secure system improving central visibility and vastly improving speed and cost of maintenance.
