We produced what today would be called HPC clusters, starting from the Transputer, through Transputer + Sparc/SunOs to Elan + Sparc/Solaris. Led the software team and personally implemented many subsystems including pfs (a parallel filesystem) and application communications libraries. Also worked with Oracle to port Oracle Parallel Server to the cluster and implemented the distributed lock manager and block storage services.
