Its the starting point of their journey to become an intelligent Municipality as a way to provide the necessary conditions and resources for constant change and adaptation to current conditions (environmental, population and technological) and become focused on being an urban ecosystem of innovation. In this municipality several sites are selected taking into account different areas of interest, in which autonomous units of data collection related to environmental parameters will be installed. The collection and processing of information is carried out remotely at the Faculty of Engineering of U.Porto. Thus, it is possible to evaluate the itinerant character of the UrbanSense platform and infrastructure, already in force in the city of Porto, Portugal, and to evaluate its extension. The final goal will be to propose a set of implementation measures in the Municipality that promote a more intelligent County in the management of its resources, government, economic growth, in matters related to the environment, mobility (such as green mobility, e.g.), and how can they improve the quality of life in the Municipality and, consequently, of its inhabitants, as it should be an intelligent city.
