Sarah Wild 🌈
Allison remains to be, hands-down, the most influential supervisor I’ve had in my professional career. Allison served as my direct supervisor during my graduate studies, as a practicum student and intern for the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office at SUNY Plattsburgh. Allison laid the ground work in showing me what effective leadership and mentorship looks like. As a young professional - at the time, Allison helped me evaluate my learning goals and guided me along my journey of achieving those goals. She let me take the reigns on passion projects that matched my skillset, and provided me with the support and encouragement that always made me feel driven to reach higher. Allison also supported and talked me through complicated professional hurdles. I always felt comfortable and safe in talking with her about challenging or delicate issues or concerns. She has a way of always making others feel valued and heard. Allison has never been a person to tell someone what they
