Even though she was flooded with so many missions, she took the time to train me in prospecting clients, making budgets, learning the CRM, everything. Volunteer with the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) at AFS Interkultur in Frederiksberg, Denmark. The experience will give me a thorough knowledge and experience in how to work with volunteers in a volunteer-driven organization. The role includes tasks such as: • Being the liaison between the AFS-office staff and the volunteers; • Helping them recruit new volunteers and motivating the exciting ones; • Preparing orientations events for Danish and foreign participants; • Taking part in the weekly evening meetings of the volunteer committee; • Being directly involved in the implementation of meetings and orientations as co-facilitator.
