  The Jasper Fitzhugh is a weekly award-winning community newspaper based in Jasper National Park, AB, covering community news, local politics, crime, events, Parks news and sports.Each week, I wrote articles and coordinated submissions from contributors, edited copy, illustrated every piece with a photograph (fresh, file or stock) and added headlines and captions. I directed the production manager on which page to place each article and how to style the cover. Before publication, I meticulously proofread the drafts, and also checked that booked advertisements were where they were supposed to be.I uploaded every article and feature to the Jasper Fitzhugh website. I adapted headlines from the print versions to be more SEO friendly and promoted the online stories across our social media channels.As publisher, I led advertising campaigns and promotional offers, booked advertisements for clients, sent proofs and confirmed approvals.
