With pleasure leading an international team for years with many different disciplines as product engineer, field engineers, field engineer supervisor, complaints coordinator, quality supervisor and prepress specialist. Since 2017, I am the project owner for the development of two new products, Block and Gable Top packaging, in addition to the existing product Brick packaging. During the first years I performed several product and production related projects in the production facility in Nijmegen. For example, printing quality standardization, automation of pallet loads, efficiency improvements, implementing a new factory safety system, implementing new ink drying (UV) systems, implementation of a flexo-printing press alongside offset presses, research (in cooperation with the University of Nijmegen) on ghosting effects, etc. From 2005, as the first employee of Alternapak, I was given the task to define the product specifications of a new (Brick) packaging by means of reverse engineering, followed by setting up the production in the Netherlands and Italy and successfully releasing the product on the market.
