  Alongside managing the traffic lights I also occupy the role as Coordinator International Affairs on behalf of my department Verkeer & Openbare Ruimte (Mobility). I make sure that all the international visits paid within my department, in which we share and collect knowledge nationally and internationally, are relevant as according to our framework. This particular framework is also in the process of being drawn up and will be completed by the end of 2019, which will be used as our guideline for international visits. Also, I attend monthly meetings with other coordinators of different disciplines within the City of Amsterdam. After these meetings I provide input in the form of annotations to our Director of Mobility to prepare her for her meetings with directors of other departments in which International Affairs are discussed.
