Casual Employee (Dairy)
-
Feb 2008 - Nov 2010
Employment in dairy entailed working with both fresh and frozen products. The need to make fresh produce available saw employment from as early as 5:30am and midnight depending on the time of arrival, and shift generally ranging 4-5 hours depending on the size of the shipment. Employment mainly involved stocking the dairy and frozen foodstuffs but also demanded knowledge of stocked brands and the changing positions of products, both to speed stocking and to help customers who often found it difficult to find products especially in the freezers.
