White Honey is a still life photo studio that handles all its business in-house. In addition to upkeeping this intimate photo studio Monday-Friday, I worked as a studio assistant at White Honey. With this title, I wore many hats. On off days: I read through each client’s shot list prior to shoot day, and would comprise a detailed list of props that I would then source. I handled the printing of all proofs to show clients. I outsourced equipment and any essentials the studio + photographers + retouchers would need. On shoot days: I worked as a PA- got coffee, organized breakfast + lunch, ran errands as needed, answered phone calls. I assisted the photographer and stylist throughout the day, and above all kept the clients happy. Show less

    • Photo Editor
      • Oct 2016 - Aug 2017

This position began as a committed 3-month internship; it turned into a position I took seriously and held great pride in! I was named the photo editor of issue 17, Enigma. To name a few responsibilities: I created and edited a weekly newsletter, I kept a roster of freelance photographers and sent them out to photograph various art-related events in the city (a number of which I contributed photographs myself), I researched + conducted weekly interviews for the “Woman Crush Wednesday” section of the website, I edited through a great number of submissions for the print magazine as well as selections from chosen professional artists, I assisted in the design of the print magazine as a whole, and was in touch with many artists throughout the process. I worked extremely closely with Editor in Chief Andrea Blanch, and was granted a lifetime worth of skills and insight through her work and professional guidance. Show less
