18 engagements for 14 clients in different geographies and across many functions/industries. Selected studies: ▪ Managed ~25 middle management clients from a top private higher education player in Latam on the creation and implementation of initiatives that amounted to 10M USD in annual savings (5% of external spend baseline) plus 15M USD one-time savings. Responsible for teams in Brazil and Mexico, traveling weekly between the two countries, besides helping in ideation workshops in Peru and Chile. ▪ Led a team of consultants in a public sector health project in a consortium between McKinsey and another consultancy firm. Helped consultants bridge communication style, analyses rigor and understanding gaps, helping fix the course and ensure client impact in two workstreams. Presented preliminary recommendations to and secured buy-in from senior government officials. ▪ Conducted due diligence for a private equity client, assessing market trends and competitive landscape in Latin America, including developing and analyzing a survey in 5 countries to understand consumer demands. Deal closed with a ~250MM USD investment over a ~2B USD valuation. ▪ Developed the strategy to restructure the debt collection department of the largest bank of Southern Brazil. Identified metrics and built models to track performance, designed A-B tests, conducted ‘go&see’ visits to benchmark operations and consolidated best practices across different collection agencies and internal teams. In the second month of implementation, monthly collection value was already 50% above baseline, with the client achieving and sustaining next-level performance in the following months. ▪ Conducted multiple standalone productivity and workforce reduction diagnostics in manufacturers, including the leading players in the Major Home Appliances, Aluminum and Agricultural Inputs sectors in Brazil. Identified an average of ~15% labor reduction opportunities with gains in workers’ safety and no losses in output.
